How to Get Icebreaker — Exotic Drop Guide
Icebreaker drops from the final boss of Vesper's Host — The Corrupted Puppeteer — with an estimated ~5% flat chance per kill. Unlike raid exotics, dungeon exotic drops use pure RNG with no bad luck protection and no triumph-based boosts — every kill is an independent ~5% roll.
Since Bungie's patch 9.1.0.2 (September 2025), legacy dungeons have no weekly exotic lockout. Vesper's Host became legacy content when the Equilibrium dungeon launched in December 2025, meaning Icebreaker can now be farmed infinitely in a single session — no character swapping, no waiting for weekly reset.
