CoD Cold War adds layers upon layers of secrets
One thing most fans enjoy in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is the challenges, specifically the ones called Dark Ops. In their essence, these are little secret tasks that you don’t even know exist until you complete them. So let’s talk about all 6 of them in order starting with the Retro Gamer. To unlock it, you are asked to find all 10 Arcade machines placed throughout the entire single-player campaign. The first one can be found in the mission called “Brick in the Wall.” When you’re with Lazar and Park, there’s going to be a secret backroom, and that’s where you’ll find the first arcade. Don’t worry, this isn’t a complete guide. We’re just giving you a taste of the kind of things CoD Black Ops Cold War makes you do for its own twisted entertainment. This isn’t going to provide you with any Cold War camo, but it does grant you a nice chunk of XP for your weapon leveling. Besides, it also unlocks the achievement. The next CoD Black Ops Cold War little trial is far more complicated than the previous one for one reason – it’s always randomized. As the first step, you’ll be putting together the red letters from the newspaper and trying to unscramble them. You’ll then be using your math skills to find the patterns between the red and blue letters to make sense of all of that. Fun, isn’t it? And doing it doesn’t even give you any Golden camo Black Ops is so famous for. No, no – this is just for pure perfectionists and completionists. But Black Ops Cold War challenges are only starting to get more and more inconspicuous.
New Call of Duty is breaking every third wall
The next one on the list isn’t particularly hard to do, but it’s almost impossible to discover in the first place. There’s a mission where Adler is telling the main character what they were doing in Vietnam as if the main character has lost memory of these events. Adler says that we took the right turn at some point, whereas to complete the challenge, we should go left. That’s not such a difficult thing to even guess, but it gets weird from that point. The Call of Duty Black Ops series is known for its love for espionage-style mysteries and stuff like sleeper agents and codes that don’t make sense to ordinary people. These games like to play with what we know based on what we are shown. Anyway, to complete the achievement, you have to take the left turn and come to the bridge where Adler says you took the zipline to get down. But instead, you step on the bridge, and do... you know what? You jump down to your death. And then you repeat it again, and it’s done! Who could have guessed that you are required to die on that bridge by jumping into the water? That’s the Black Ops Cold War experience at its finest, and it doesn’t matter what Call of Duty weapons you use to get to that place. In this new Call of Duty game, these little gameplay secrets are everywhere. Only the most attentive will spot every small detail and make sense of it all. Of course, hunting for new CoD camo for your favorite weapons can be a bit more exciting. Crushing your opponents with the latest meta and having a professional CoD Cold War boost from LFcarry get you the Diamond camo can be called more valuable than looking for arcade games in an FPS game about sleeper agents. That said, whether you’re looking to get access to some attachments or camo or you’re hunting for achievements – always look for all of that at lfcarry.com. This is the right place, Mason!
